Thursday, 24 May 2018
09:30 - 11:30
Cambridge, UK
£0.00 - £25.00

Our Women in Business monthly event is designed to support women in business by offering a friendly space to meet and connect with like-minded women.

We have three Women in Business formats, each format is held once per quarter on a rotational basis, and include:

  1. Mixer – Invited guest speaker sharing their entrepreneurial journey along with informal networking where you can introduce yourself to others and build your network.
  2. Mastermind session – networking and peer to peer support designed to help you navigate through challenges. Solve problems with input and advice from the other group members.
  3. Masterclass – joined by a guest speaker for an interactive session by an expert in their field.

Expand your network and raise your profile. Our events offer a great opportunity to introduce yourself, bounce ideas off each other and to get to know other working women in Cambridge.

May brings our Mixer Event, with guest speaker, Tine Roche, Co-founder of Cambridge Cookery and Bistro sharing her entrepreneurial journey.

About Tine Roche and the Cambridge Cookery and Bistro:

Tine Roche was born in Copenhagen and raised in Stockholm. She graduated from Uppsala University and shortly after moved to the UK where she went to Leiths to train as a chef and set up as a freelance consultant for large Scandinavian food producers looking for early global trend alerts. As part of travelling around the US with clients, Tine spotted an outdoor, corporate cookery event and thus sowed the first seed for her business.
In 2008 Tine built her first kitchen offering cookery classes for the general public as well as high octane corporate and private events.
In 2016 the Cambridge Cookery School expanded to incorporate a café, micro bakery, wine bar & bistro, committed to hand making food using small scale local and organic produce and to being as sustainable as possible.
Cambridge Cookery & Bistro recently received a Silver award for its sustainability, commitment to local food, mission to cut down waste and weekly donations of meals for Jimmys homeless shelter using no longer perfect local & organic produce.
