Emerging Chapters

We want communities to lead our mission and through our Chapter Lead community, we do just that. We support them behind the scenes. They accelerate progress towards a more gender-equal world by addressing the barriers that stop women from reaching their potential and thriving in their homes, economies, and societies.

The Rising Network ‘Chapters’ are led by our Chapter Leads who sit within the Leadership Team for each Chapter. Our chapters are local communities designed to connect, inspire and empower women, each with its own calendar of events, workshops, and activities for women in the local area.

South West England, UK

We are expanding the Rising Network into South West England – new for summer 2020! 

Zoe Price, President

Programme Manager, Innovate UK

Zoe is a civil servant working with the Government’s Industrial Strategy and forms part of the senior management team for a multi-million-pound funding programme to support the UK’s foundation industries (comprising of six of the UK’s heavy industry sectors).

Prior to becoming a civil servant, Zoe worked on a £60 million national quality improvement programme with the NHS. Her main area of focus was on creating equitable access to breast cancer services for women across England, whilst promoting more sustainable work practices for cancer services across the country.
Zoe also has extensive experience in the private sector, working for information publishing giants Elsevier and Cengage Learning. Here Zoe was responsible for business development, strategy and cross-sector collaboration between industry, academia and science. From a business development and strategy role, Zoe extended her experience into training delivery, doggedly promoting sales skills in order to professionalise the role of business development as well as improving business reputations through enhanced customer experience.  Zoe has a keen interest in self-development, reading an extensive number of books each year, continually studying new skills and bringing a diverse range of insights to her team. Zoe also has a keen interest in promoting the equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) agenda and has built a wide network of diversity advocates. Zoe is also an ED&I and skills advocate in her current role, as well as being a mentor for junior colleagues.

In her spare time, Zoe is a keen (but admittedly amateur) gardener, with a particular interest in bees. Zoe is also very actively involved with the local rugby club, supporting her Son’s under-13 team with sponsorship and promoting the life-changing benefits of sports to the more disadvantaged young people within the local community.

North West England, UK

Vicky Grant, People & Culture Lead

People and Culture Lead, Interim HR Business Partner, Domino Printing Sciences

Vicky is currently Interim HR Business Partner at Domino Printing Sciences in Liverpool. She studies Business Studies at Liverpool University and has gained a Masters in Personnel & Development alongside her CIPD accreditation at Liverpool John Moores University.
Vicky has worked in Human Resources for over 17 years gaining experience in a number of sectors such as Retail, Leisure, Transport & Logistics and now Manufacturing and is passionate about Human Resources and is particularly interested in culture change and transformation in the workplace. Domino is now a member of WISE (Women in Science and Engineering) and has started reaching out to similar organisations to find new and innovative ways to attract more women into STEM roles.
Attraction, Recruitment and Retention, Leadership Development, Talent, Employee Engagement, well-being and Culture Change are a few of the key projects that Vicky is focusing on within the business right now.
Vicky is a Member of the CIPD network and outside of work, supports her local girl guiding group and is about to embark on some holistic therapy training. She is married with 1 daughter and a dog and lives in Liverpool.

Dr Froswa Booker-Drew, Chapter Lead, Dallas
VP of Community Affairs and Strategic Alliances, State Fair of Texas

About Dr Froswa Booker-Drew: Dr Froswa’ Booker-Drew is the Founder and CEO of Soulstice Consultancy, specializing as a Partnership Broker and Leadership Expert for companies and organizations to thrive with measurable and meaningful impact. She also is the VP of Community Affairs and Strategic Alliances for the State Fair of Texas.
Dr Booker-Drew is a passionate philanthropist and Co-Founder of HERitage Giving Circle. Her connectivity expertise and notable research is highlighted in quotes and profiles in major media such as Forbes, Huffington Post, Bustle, Ozy, and other outlets around the world. As a professional speaker, Dr Booker-Drew educates and expands upon various subject matter such as social capital and networking, leadership, diversity, and community development. She is well-regarded by national and international audiences and served as a workshop presenter at the United Nations on the Access to Power.
One of the most impactful life events for Dr Booker-Drew was being featured in a documentary, Friendly Captivity, a film that followed a cast of seven (7) women from Dallas, Texas to embark on a remarkable journey in India.

Honors for Dr Booker-Drew’s work include; Outstanding African American Alumni Award from the University of Texas at Arlington, Semi-finalist for the SMU TEDx, Woman of the Year Award by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Diversity Ambassador for the American Red Cross, and Dallas Business Journal Women in Business Award Honoree. Dr Booker-Drew earned her PhD from Antioch University in Leadership and Change. She also attended the Jean Baker Miller Institute at Wellesley for Relational Cultural Theory and Facilitator Training on Immunity to Change. Further, Dr Booker-Drew completed training through UNICEF on Equity-Based Evaluations.

Mahjooba Bianchi, Learning & Development Chapter Lead, Washington, D.C
CEO of the Three T Institute

Mahjooba Bianchi is the CEO of the Three T Institute., an innovative professional development company in Northern Virginia that focuses on providing an e-learning and classroom experience that is personable, hands-on, and effective.
The “3T” approach enables busy professionals to understand, retain, and recall learned information to successfully obtain key certifications.

Ms. Bianchi has over 15 years of Project Management Experience, and an MBA in IT Project Management, with an undergraduate degree from George Mason University in Government and International Relations. Her passion in life is to drive motivation and enable individuals to reach their career heights.

Eva Tarabichi, Chapter Lead

Coach and Intercultural Trainer at Tarabichi Coaching

Eva Tarabichi is an experienced trainer and ICF ACC-certified coach whose mission is to foster intercultural learning and development for individuals as well as teams. She works with international professionals, teams, expatriates and expat spouses as well as HR professionals that manage international staff and assignments.
Eva’s particular focus is on empowering her clients to assess their own cultural profile as well as that of their counterparts and enable them to successfully bridge cultural gaps and leverage cultural differences in positive ways.

Her aim is to make people successful and functional – wherever they may be and whoever they work with. She is passionate about delivering out-of-the-box, global-minded, multilingual and multicultural thinking.
To deliver unique and high-quality coaching and training, Eva draws not only on her ICF accredited coach training but also on her degrees in Sinology and European politics, during which she has specialised in intercultural communication. She is an experienced speaker, having designed and presented workshops in her previous career as well as her current one. She understands the challenges of today’s high pressurised career environments, as she used to work for multinational law firms, EU political institutions and lobbying associations in her first career as a political interest representant.

Having been an expat for roughly half of her life, she has seen a fair share of intercultural and relocation challenges: She has been an expat in multiple situations – as a school child, university student, employee, “trailing spouse”, mum of two and self-employed entrepreneur.
Global mindedness, multiculturalism as well as the strive for quality and tested standards in coaching are the core values that drive Eva in her coaching practice. She delivers her services in English, French and German and can be contacted in these languages as well as Mandarin and Spanish.
