Arthur Rank Hospice supports people in Cambridgeshire living with a life-limiting illness and those who need end-of-life care. Our services are provided free of charge to patients and their families. Our aim is to provide the highest quality care, helping them to make every moment count.

We care for people at the Hospice in Cambridge, the day treatment centre in Wisbech and in patient’s own homes through the Arthur Rank Community team. The support provided by our inpatient unit, day therapy services and Hospice at Home is practical, holistic and tailored to the individual. Programmes may include psychological support, physiotherapy, complementary therapy, occupational therapy, rehabilitative support, counselling, bereavement and spiritual support.

Arthur Rank Hospice Charity needs to secure £7.45 million every year to deliver our services free of charge to patients and their loved ones. About half of this currently comes from statutory sources with further funds raised through our Bistro, education services, conference facility and hairdressing salon. The remainder is raised thanks to the wider local community who are motivated to ensure that work of the hospice continues: amongst other things they donate to our shops, take part in our events, take on personal challenges, hold their own fundraisers or leave gift in their Will. We are constantly looking for new opportunities to sustain funds, so we can keep providing and developing our vital services long into the future.

Over 400 people attend first Summer Fete at Arthur Rank Hospice’s Shelford Bottom home

All the fun of a traditional family fete, at Arthur Rank Hospice’s Summer Fete on Saturday 7 July.

Over 400 visitors enjoyed all the fun of a traditional summer fete in Arthur Rank Hospice’s grounds and gardens on Saturday 7 July. The Charity has now revealed that £4275 was raised! The Hospice’s Bistro hosted all kinds of stalls from a children’s toy store,bric-a-brac, jewellery, homemade cards, puzzles to plants.
